About Us
Experience / Expertise
My name is Andrew Blackmore, and I’m the founder of the Rewired Vitality Health Coaching practice. I hold a master’s degree in counseling, I spent 7.5 years as a Professional School Counselor at the High School level in Virginia Beach, VA, and during that time I coached multiple teams (Soccer and Golf). I left the school system to tackle new challenges in the corporate world, ultimately to be led back to the counseling arena, albeit not via school counseling or even the traditional counseling route. During my time in the corporate world, I received a scary diagnosis which caused me to take some time off from the stressful hustle and bustle of the daily grind, and led me down a winding road of discoveries, learning, and healing I could never have imagined! After realizing the conventional treatments I was offered were hurting me more than helping me, and working with my trusted Chiropractor who introduced me to a naturopathic doctor, I made the decision to stop taking the chemotherapy pill I was told to take every day for the rest of my life (that was the solution offered to me to deal with the disease I was diagnosed with). I quietly decided to dive headfirst into natural healing using a heavy dose of bio geometric integration chiropractic care at least twice a week, along with specific foods and nutrition under the guidance of the naturopathic doctor. About 6 – 7 months after making this switch I achieved complete molecular remission and never looked back. This experience opened my eyes to the innate power of the human body to heal itself when given the appropriate fuel and environment to work its magic. I realized most of what we’ve been taught about healing, and our bodies in general, are mostly half-truths, and half-truths always lead to full lies. Embarking on the journey of creating wellness and navigating all of the information (and misinformation) out there has created a passion in me to find the truth about human healing, and how to optimize our health in this modern world that seems to be a toxic assault around every corner.
Prior to my diagnosis, my life was dedicated to guiding others. As a Professional School Counselor, I spent years helping students navigate their struggles, teaching them resilience and self-confidence to make it through those challenging times. On the soccer field, I coached my players to push past their limits, to believe in themselves, and to work together toward success. At the time, I thought I was simply shaping young minds, but in reality, those experiences were shaping me. They were preparing me for the greatest challenge of my life, showing me the power of mindset, discipline, and unwavering belief in the face of adversity.
These experiences have ignited a passion within me, a passion to help others reclaim their vitality and energy without feeling trapped by conventional solutions. It led me down countless rabbit holes of research and ultimately to the Energetic Health Institute where I studied Holistic Nutrition for 3+ years and earned a C.H.N. (Certified Holistic Nutritionist) certification. The HNC program is an all-encompassing program as it relates to our health and happiness. Dr. Henry Ealy has created multiple programs at the Energetic Health Institute, and this CHN program is the shining star of the school. Learning how our emotions affect our biology and our energy, what it actually means to eat healthy, the difference between our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, and why that matters, and I could go on and on listing topics covered in this program that have opened my eyes to the various levels of healing the human body goes through, everything from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I’m forever grateful to be introduced to Dr. H and the Energetic Health Institute. Now, I’m ready to combine my counseling background and knowledge with my experience and knowledge gained through the Energetic Health Institute and learning how to use Nature / God’s medicine to heal and thrive. Now, my mission is to empower others with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health naturally and sustainably. I’ve walked this path, and I know the power of holistic wellness firsthand. This is why I do what I do, to help others live the energetic, fulfilling life of their dreams, free from fear and fill of vitality.
